We had the big family party for all three kids this weekend! Sarah will get to have a few friends over on her actual birthday in November and that will be it for awhile! Christmas in October at our house! It was crazy, but it was good, too. We are so blessed with an amazing family. We certainly missed those of you that couldn't be there! (sniff, sniff!) My mom had the idea to have the girls decorate their own princess cakes. Although noone would eat them due to all the licking that went on while decorating, they turned out great! Mostly, the girls had a really great time making them and were very proud of them. (We did have a back-up cake.)

Barrett daintily dug into his cake-taking way too long for the grandma's! He actually seemed a little bored with the whole production. Tiring day for a little one-year-old.

We had a really great time. And, on a side note, we've had my brother in town the past couple days, which has been an added bonus! The girls certainly do adore their Uncle Bryan. I'm sure Barrett does, too. :-) We sure do miss you, Auntie M!

Your children are so stinkin' cute! I hope Barrett's finger is ok after yesterday's pinching at church!

Those cakes look delicious and beautiful to me. I think if there wasn't a back up cake I would have had a piece of their creations :)
