My mom is such an amazing friend. She is so good at keeping in touch with friends over the years, no matter what the distance. This past weekend, we were able to get together with her friend, Rocky, and her amazing family. They have 9 kids! They live in PA and visit Lafayette every 2 years. Mom always makes sure she gets us all together. Lucky for us, there are two boys that are 10, so the girls didn't have to share! They had such a good time with them and cried after we left because they were going to miss them so much! Carolyn was legitimately sad. I can't say for sure about Sarah, but b/c she has to do whatever Carolyn does, she worked up some tears, too. Amazing! I'm sure she was sad, too, though, b/c she had just as much fun as Carolyn! We really enjoyed the time with this family. It was a great beginning to our 4th of July Weekend!
